Did your dog run away?

Even though it's difficult: The best way you can help your four-legged friend now is to stay calm and not blame yourself. No matter how careful you are, it happens hundreds of times every day. Most missing dogs are found again. To make sure your dog is one of them soon, you should act thoughtfully now:

Dogorama Treffen Radar

1.) Submit a missing dog report on Dogorama. Use this form.

Your report will be published and shared both here on the website and within the Dogorama app. This way, our large network of dog owners can keep an eye out for your four-legged friend.

2.) Print a Dogorama search poster and distribute it in your area.

As soon as you have created the missing report, you can print a search poster directly from the report. Contact is then made safely and easily via Dogorama – so you don't have to provide your own phone number.

Please check with your local authorities about the legal requirements for posting and distributing search or information posters.

3.) Search the area

You probably know a few places where your dog might be. Check there yourself or ask friends and family to help you. We also recommend contacting the local lost property office, animal shelters, animal welfare organizations, and police stations. These are the places where finders usually report first.

Have you sighted or found a runaway dog?

Here on the website and also in the app, you will find all dogs that have been reported missing in the Dogorama network. The missing animals are sorted by the day of loss, but you can also specifically search the list for entries in your city or municipality.

Using the “Found or sighted” button, you can report your discovery and help reunite the dog with its owner as quickly as possible.

If you have found a dog (not just sighted it), you must also report the find to the local authorities or lost property office (during the day) or the police (at night). Alternatively, you can also take the dog to an animal shelter.
